EMPLOYMENT MANAGER

Department: HUMAN RESOURCES

Duties: This position manages recruitment and staffing activities for the University (excluding the selection and placement of most faculty staff). Duties include: recommending, developing, updating and implementing employment and staffing policies and procedures; conducting job analyses in order to prepare position announcements and to identify job skill sets for employment agencies; writing job announcements and advertisements; placing ads on the Web and appropriate media; reviewing resumes/ applications and other documents to make eligibility determinations; screening, testing and referring applicants, appropriately; coordinating, administering and overseeing processes for temporary employment requests; performing human resources generalist functions, as required; advising management on employment and staffing policies; overseeing the office reception functions; and performing other duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications: A bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or a related field. Four years of professional human resources work experience, preferably in recruitment, which includes interviewing and related activity.

Salary: Commensurate with qualifications and Experience
