FULL-TIME CONTRACTUAL: SHUTTLE DRIVER

Department: Motor Pool/ Business Services

Duties: The driver will conduct daily pre and post trip shuttle inspections and promptly report findings to Motor Pool Fleet Manager and Shuttle Supervisor; drive assigned route, obeying all the traffic and parking laws, in a safe and customer friendly manner; be responsible for the timely operation of the shuttle; communicate via two-way cell phone; report any disturbances; recommend changes/ adjustments to shuttle routes and schedules; complete survey recording the number of passengers boarding; remove all trash and debris; and perform other transport and driving duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications: Must be at least 21 years of age. Graduated from an accredited high school or have a GED. Applicant must possess a valid Maryland State Commercial Driver's License (CDL) (Passenger Bus Endorsement) Drivers License, a good driving record with no moving violations or points; minimum of three (3) years driving experience, transporting passengers. Good physical and mental health with a current Medical Examiners Certificate. Must possess excellent communication and customer service skills, and have a stable prior work history.

Salary: $13.37 per hour
