Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program

Each year during the spring semester the Department of Accounting and Finance and the National Association of Black Accountants (NABA) - Accounting Club sponsor the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program at Morgan State University.  Under this program, several accounting students assist the professor in charge of the program, Dr. Buagu Musazi, in preparing and electronically filing income tax returns for  low-income individuals in the Baltimore community.  Individuals with income not exceeding $40,000 may receive preparation assistance under the VITA program.
