COMPUTING LABORATORIES

One of the functions of the Academic Computing Services is to provide useful technology tools, and enhanced instruction. The ACS provides this with computer labs campus wide. There are a number of computer laboratories located in various departments, within the schools on campus. In addition, MSU offers computing laboratories with specialized programming.

INTERNET ACCESS AND INTERNET II ACCESS

Academic Computing Services not only provides our campus community with centralized computing services to faculty and students, it also provides all campus personnel with Internet Access and Internet II Access to the campus network. Our campus community uses Internet II for high-speed access, and access to remote high-speed computer systems. Research activities in the sciences (namely biology, chemistry, computer science, physics, mathematics and engineering) are also supported by Internet II.
