Associate Professor, CCLDP
Dr. Robin Spaid came to Morgan State University faculty in August 2008 as an Associate Professor. She taught and coordinated Higher Education PhD program for three years and has recently joined the CCLDP faculty. She earned her doctorate from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University and was an American Council on Education Fellow, 1994-95. She has a robust background in higher education with 30 years of experience working with public and private universities and colleges as well as community colleges. Her experience includes serving as an adjunct faculty member at several different institutions and teaching in a variety of formats-- traditional, accelerated, and online. Prior to accepting the faculty position at Morgan State University, she worked for five years as the Director of Mount Olive College at the Triangle in Research Triangle Park, North Carolina.
In addition, Dr. Spaid worked for 25 years with community colleges in a variety of instructional administrative areas. Her presentations and publications topics include marketing, accelerated cohort programs, adjunct faculty, international issues in higher education, leadership, equity issues, and workforce development programs
