Angela Burrus, MA
Administrative Assistant, CCLDP
For the past five years, Angela Burrus has served the Community College Leadership Doctoral Program as the administrative assistant. She prides herself in serving students efficiently and effectively. Her motto is: "I'll help you in any way I can. If I don't know the answer to something, either I'll find the answer or direct you to someone who knows."
In 2010, Angela received her master's degree in English/Creative Writing from Morgan State University. Prior to earning her master's degree, she worked five years at the Samuel DeWitt Proctor School of Theology at Virginia Union University in Richmond, Virginia. She also worked three years as a newspaper reporter at The Daily Courier, Forest City, NC, and The Triangle Tribune, Durham, NC. In 1998, Angela earned her BA degree in English/News Media at Elizabeth City State University in Elizabeth City, NC.
