All students who have been certified for graduation and who wish to participate in the Commencement Exercises on Friday, December 16, 2016, must attend the Graduation Rehearsal on Thursday, December 15, 2016. They should report for Rehearsal promptly at the following times and locations:
Rehearsal for Graduate Students: Students receiving the master’s degree and the doctorate will rehearse on December 15, 2016, at 9:00 a.m. in Hill Field House.
Rehearsal for Undergraduate Students: Students receiving the bachelor’s degree will rehearse on December 15, 2016, at 10:30 a.m. in the Hill Field House.
At Graduation Rehearsal students will be instructed by the Chief Marshal, Associate Marshals and Deans on protocol and procedures for being awarded the degree and about conduct during the Commencement Exercises, and they will practice wearing their academic regalia, being hooded and performing in other activities associated with receiving a degree.
In addition, at the end of the Rehearsal, they will pose in their academic regalia for a Class of 2016 Photograph.
Students must bring their academic regalia with them and be dressed appropriately for putting it on and posing for the Class Photograph. Gentlemen should wear a dress shirt (with collar) and tie.
