All workshops will be held in Room 117 of the Earl S. Richardson Library. Full descriptions of each workshop, as well as information regarding how to RSVP, will be made available one week before each workshop is held. 

We appreciate you sharing our workshop schedule with your students. Please note, however, that seating is limited, so we request that you do not mandate your students attend.

Have you ever sat through a boring presentation with PowerPoint slides that made no sense? Have you ever seen a really ugly presentation or handout and wondered what its author was thinking? Are you worried about the visual design of your handouts or job documents?

If you answered yes to any of these questions, then you'll want to come to the Writing Center's next workshop.

During this workshop, we will review the basics of good visual design, focusing especially on the design of effective PowerPoint documents. We will also answer any questions you may have about visual rhetoric and document design.
