Latichia Perine

Glenn A. George, II

My name is Latichia Perine from Brooklyn, New York, and I have been recently named the Student Regent of Morgan State University. As the Student Regent, I have the honor of sitting on the Board of Regents, which governs the university directly. I am a senior Political Science major, who aspires to become a Political Analyst for a major political broadcasting news network. I am involved with, and hold leadership positions in several organizations on campus. I am honored to be the  Vice President of the Political Science Association, Secretary of the Dancers of Praise dance group, and a general body member of the National Council of Negro Women as well as  the Financial Management Association in addition to my sumptuous opportunity as Student Regent. I consider myself to be a well rounded individual, and a well versed student of the illustrious Morgan State University. I plan to use my various experiences, both professional and social at the university, to help guide me through the board this upcoming academic school year. I am elated to serve my university and the nearly 8,000 students who are at Morgan State University.
