Department: Transfer Center
Duties: Coordinates and administers the Connect and NEXUS programs; maintains all program aspects, keeping statistical records, composing/publishing newsletters, website and social media maintenance as well as answering general e-mails; maintains completes transfer evaluations, conducts productivity and data research projects; assists students within the program checking on their progress as they transition to Morgan; maintains partnerships and relationships between Morgan State University and its students, parents and community college liaisons; meets deadlines and objectives under Title II and Academic Affairs strategic plans as they pertain to alternative admission programs in the Transfer Center; assists in the streamlining of the transition process for alternative program students at the University; maintains Transfer Center established partnerships with Maryland community college; and performs other duties as required.
Minimum Qualifications: Associates Degree from an accredited college; two years of experience in secondary and/or postsecondary education working with enrollment and/or marketing
Requirements: Previous community college enrollment management experience preferred; familiarity with the community college and public school systems, accreditation requirements preferred. Ability to communicate effectively both orally and written; ability to operate computers and other office equipment; ability to stand and walk on college visits; skill in coordinating work with other departments of the university. Some long work hours including evenings and weekends may be required.
