Department: Earl S. Richardson Library

Duties: Assists all patrons in the Library with Microform, audio-visual, and electronic media collections' usage; inputs data into library computer systems; maintains hardware and electronic equipment; organizes, maintains and shelves multimedia collections, including, but not limited to, DVDs, CDs, Video Cassettes, Records, Microfilm, Microfiche, and other relevant materials; develops strategy to maximize student and faculty usage of the  multi-media department; implements new library technologies working collaboratively with other departments for the development of infrastructure for the dissemination of new technologies; conducts surveys and blogs to develop an online footprint via social networking; performs other duties as required.  

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Telecommunications, Electronic Media or a related field; 4 years in the operation and maintenance of audio visual or multi-media equipment.

Requirements:  Knowledge of the operation and maintenance of multi-media equipment; knowledge of basic media systems and facilities design; skill in the operation and repair of multimedia equipment; ability to lead and train subordinate personnel; use computers; communicate effectively.
