Department: Undergraduate Admissions & Recruitment

 

Duties: Maintains integrated application processing systems and clerical services for Undergraduate Admissions; responsible for the daily operations related to applicant processing; reviews and verifies documents for completeness, accuracy, timeliness and compliance; maintains incoming credentials e.g., transcripts, test scores, and recommendations; sorts and files documents and materials; operates office equipment such as personal computers, typewriters, and photocopiers and performs other duties as required.

  

Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED.  One year of clerical experience.

Requirements:  Knowledge of office practices, procedures and equipment; knowledge of grammar, spelling and punctuation;  skill in filing documents in both alphabetic and numeric sequences; skill in operating manual and automated office equipment; skill in performing routine clerical tasks; ability to independently perform specialized clerical tasks; ability to understand and apply departmental policies and procedures; ability to communicate effectively; ability to follow oral and written instructions; ability to maintain effective work relationships.
