**This is a re-posted position. There are two Enterprise Resource Planning positions available, these positions are full time contractual with the opportunity for upgrade to a Regular State position, based on performance.**
Duties: Provides software programming, development, maintenance and Systems Analysis in support of the ERP systems utilized throughout the University; responds to, identifies researches, resolves, and documents applications software performance problems. Responsible for assisting in developing needs analysis, process analysis, testing; and deployment of software systems; develops and maintains complex software programs utilizing PL/SQL, C/C,COBOL, Groovy, and other Object Oriented languages; learns user functions, organization and roles in the enterprise to the extent required to support various ERP systems; assists in the design of procedures to solve complex problems based on user defined needs; assists in formulating, analyzing, and defining system scope and requirements; acts as business expert and meets with users and groups to determine their data processing needs; assists in the development of work plans, task sequencing, and the extent to which tasks may be performed concurrently; provides assistance in software product evaluation; and all other duties as required.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering; or a related field. Three (3) years application development experience with Java and Oracle.
Preferred: Masters Degree. Desirable certifications include but are not limited to Oracle Certified Professional Application Developer (OCPAD), Certified Software Development Associate (CSDA).
Requirements: Demonstrated knowledge of Application Development; knowledge of software development life-cycle process such as ISO 12207 or others; knowledge of various user groups, software installation support, maintenance, training and service level agreement management; skill in architecting, designing, analyzing, and developing modern ERP platform, especially Banner; ability to maintain ERP software; ability to work with service level management for various end user groups and ERP related applications such as TouchNet, Document Management System, and Workflow; ability to develop and modify programs, scripts, reports and job streams based on specifications developed with end user.
