About ETS

The mission of ETS is to encourage eligible applicants to complete high school, continue their education by pursuing postsecondary studies, and pursuing their dreams. ETS also provides tutorial services, career exploration, aptitude assessments, counseling, mentoring programs, workshops, information and first hand exposure on postsecondary institutions; education or counseling services designed to improve the financial and economic literacy of students .

Participant Qualifications


All potential participants must complete an ETS application for eligibility review before receiving any services. Eligibility Criteria include at least one of the following:

  • Potential first-­generation college attendees

  • Students from low income families. (Students must meet income requirements mandated by the Department of Education).

  • Live in the NE Baltimore area. Zip codes include: 21205, 21206, 21212, 21213, 21214, 21218, 21234, 21236, 21239

  • Attend one of our target schools listed below. Students who attend target schools DO NOT have to live in the NE Baltimore area.
