Stomp on HIV
Stomp on HIV is a program designed to reveal the naked truth about safe sex and HIV/AIDS awareness, through interactive group sessions, positive role models, and an HIV/AIDS Resource Fair. With HIV on the rise within the African American community and among the youth and young adults ages 13-24, it is imperative that education and awareness are widely distributed throughout urban areas so that the stigma of HIV/AIDS can be lifted. With the notion that knowledge is equivalent to power, it is the goal of the Stomp on HIV program to empower the community, local high schools and surrounding colleges and universities by supplying the information necessary to adequately equip everyone with the knowledge and understanding of HIV/AIDS. The Office of Community Service puts together an annual event to teach the youth about safe sex and HIV Awareness. Fill out the form below for more information about Stomp on HIV and our annual event.
