Veteran Services
Morgan is not only Veteran-friendly (meaning we actively seek out and encourage Veterans to apply), but we also want to build our reputation as a place where Veterans, and their academic and social needs are taken care of. As such, we have created a Veteran's office to be housed in Turner Armory. The purpose of this office is to provide a central location for Veteran students to come and get all information deemed pertinent. The student Veteran will have direct access to a staff member who will guide them through the application process (those parts specific to Veterans), and be able to disseminate any information the student Veteran may need. These services may include academic or any social services the University offers. Student Veterans will also be given direct access to our Veterans Coordinator, Stacey Tyson, and to the Director of EOVS LTC (R) Joseph C. Bozeman, Jr.
Our Veteran Service Goals include:
- Veteran Appreciation Night
- Veteran Orientation Day
- Scholarship Program
- Town Hall Meetings
- Distance Learning/ Distance Education
