SEMAA Day STEM Extravaganza

SEMAA Day is a fun-filled day of hands-on, minds-on STEM activities for K-12 students in Maryland and surrounding states.  The objective of SEMAA Day is to encourage youth to pursue careers in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) at the post-secondary level and provide their parents with educational techniques and materials to keep their children interested in academics, specifically the STEM field.

During SEMAA Day a blend of innovative STEM partners are invited to provide a variety of fun interactive activities that will engage K-12 students and their parents.  Activities usually include all STEM disciplines such as Astronomy, model airplane building and flying, life science activities, engineering design and construction, math and science games, rocketry, robotics and various NASA and NOAA educational activities.
