Electronic Systems and Sensors Sector (ESSS)
Assignment Services Intern

Job Description:

§ Work directly with the ESSS Household Goods Moving Coordinator to initiate and control all ESSS relocation/transfer/field assignment moves and storage of employees' personal or household goods by commercial carriers. Provide assistance in initiating payment of related invoices through Accounts Payable and for transferring any excess costs to the appropriate employee expense account.

§ Provide business supports for a variety of functions to include assisting in administering and coordinating payment of Federal and foreign taxes, collecting and administering employee earning information and maintaining a data file on expatriate employees. Build knowledge of internal tax compliance, immigration control, social insurance and financial management.

§ Assist in the calculation of incentive bonuses, expense compensation and payroll advances for ESSS, and maintaining the per diem lists and survey data required to perform the foregoing duties. Become familiar with applicable administrative procedures in order to ensure compliance for all domestically and internationally assigned employees of ESSS.
