Help for Web Time Sheets
Revised Time Sheets:8/31/07 TO ALL EMPLOYEES… Due to the late submission of Web time sheets, payroll processing of overtime, shift differential, acting pay, and other payroll adjustments will be delayed until the next payroll cycle. The payroll staff spent a considerable amount of time contacting employees and approvers to complete the web time entry process. As a result, processing time for this payroll was shortened. Those employees who still cannot access their Web time sheets are advised to notify the Payroll Office of any problems prior to the deadline for submission of time sheets. To notify Payroll, please send an email to one of the following persons:
Reminder e-mail notifications will go out Friday, prior to the Monday 12 noon deadline. This will be the only notification employees and approvers will receive. Please make a note of the following Web time sheet due dates through the end of the year:
8/22/07 ALL EMPLOYEES and APPROVERS… Due to the Labor Day holiday which occurs on Monday, September 3, 2007, payroll- processing schedules will be advanced for the pay period ending August 28, 2007. This means that Web time sheets must be completed and approved by 12:00 noon on Monday, August 27, 2007. Paper time sheets will not be printed and distributed for this pay period. Further, paper time sheets will only be accepted from employees who do not have a Web time sheet on Self-Service or who are reporting time for a prior pay period. Please contact the Payroll Office on extension 3026 with questions or if you have any difficulty accessing your Web time sheet. 8/13/07 REMINDER TO ALL EMPLOYEES… Web time sheets are due by 12:00 p.m. on Monday, August 13, 2007. It is the responsibility of each employee and approver to submit time sheets via the Web Entry System. Paper time sheets will be accepted for one final pay period (August 1, 2007 through August 14, 2007). There will be no paper time sheets printed for subsequent pay periods. Approvers are required to establish a Proxy to approve time sheets in their absence. Individuals experiencing difficulty should contact the Payroll Office on extension 3026.
7/27/07 PLEASE REMEMBER TO ENTER YOUR TIME ON YOUR WEB TIME SHEET TODAY. SUBMIT YOUR WEB TIME SHEET BEFORE 12:00 NOON ON MONDAY, JULY 30, 2007. TIME SHEETS MUST BE APPROVED BY 12:00 NOON ON MONDAY, JULY 30, 2007. PAPER TIME SHEETS ARE ALSO DUE FOR THE PAY PERIOD ENDING JULY 31, 2007. PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU PUT THE SAME INFORMATION ON BOTH TIME SHEETS. ALL INQUIRIES MAY BE DIRECTED TO THE PAYROLL OFFICE ON EXTENSION 3026.
7/16/07 WEB TIME IS HERE! All Regular and Contractual employees may begin using WEB TIME today. Self-service is available to log on and enter time for the pay period ending July 17, 2007. For Regular employees, all time for this pay period must be entered, submitted for approval, and approved by close of business on Tuesday, July 17, 2007.* The time entry period for Contractual employees has been extended to the close of business on Thursday, July 19, 2007. Time must be entered, submitted for approval, and approved.* Please note that Contractual employees must have an active contract entered into Banner to access their Web time sheet. Some employees may experience contract processing delays due to the large volume of contracts at the beginning of the fiscal year.
Both paper and Web time sheets must contain the same information to include in-and-out hours, over time and leave taken for Non-exempt employees. For Exempt employees, Regular earnings, leave taken and Compensatory time earned are to be included. Access to Web time sheets is as follows:
