It is the desire of the University to provide parking for all university
faculty, staff and students. Parking is provided on a renewal basis for
daytime faculty/ staff and on a first-come basis for students and evening
weekend faculty/ staff. There is now sufficient parking for University
personnel; however, most spaces are located on the extremities of the
campus.
The following regulations have been designed to provide for the effective
use of parking areas, the safe movement of motor vehicles and pedestrian
traffic, the general safety of the campus, and the enforcement of the
regulations. Failure to comply with traffic regulations constitutes a
violation subject to penalties as herein set forth. Regulations must be
observed at all times including exam periods, registration, summer school
and inclement weather.
These regulations are not to be superseded by any verbal communications
by anyone. Changes to this official policy will be made in writing and
distributed as an addendum to this document.
The following parking rates are effective July 1, 2004 and supersede any previously published rates.
