Many of his published articles are about technology, management and business. Dennis K. Agboh, Ph.D., Associate Professor has taught on both the undergraduate and graduate level while on the faculty at Morgan. His research topics consist of digital simulation, emission control in Transportation studies and information technology applications in Less Developed Countries. His published works have focused on Information Technology and Industrial Engineering. Avinash Arya, Ph.D., Assistant Professor. His research interests include financial reporting, performance evaluation, earnings management and corporate governance. Dr. Arya has published several articles in Journal of Business Ethics, American Business Review, Indian Journal of Economics and Business and The Business Journal. Nathan K. Austin, Ph.D., Assistant Professor, has since taught several courses at Morgan State University. He has published extensively in the area of Industry competitiveness, tourism and business. His research interests include Tourist/ Visitor Behavioral Issues, Tourism/ Hospitality Development and Marketing, Technology and Tourism and Tourism/ Hospitality and Industry Competitiveness. Sanjay Bapna, Ph.D., Assistant Professor of Information Science and System is currently on faculty in the Information Systems department of Morgan State University. His research interests include Datawarehouse, Geographical Information Systems, neural networks and intelligent transportation systems. Dr. Bapna has an extensive list of publications and presentations detailing his research topics. Ganesh D. Bhatt, Assistant Professor has conducted research in the areas of IS strategy, IS value and Knowledge management. His publications focus on Management, Business and Information Systems. Karen E. Bland-Collins, Assistant Professor conducts research on Instructional Technology and Science Education for at risk post secondary students. She has published widely on such topics as Hypermedia learning and the effects of self-regulatory skills on learning. Fikru H. Boghossian, Ph.D., Professor currently serves as Chairman of the Business Administration Department. Among his research topics are Strategic Management and Business Policy. His published work includes Annual Advances in Business Cases and Competitive Forces in the Hospitality Industry. Michael Callow, Ph.D., Assistant Professor has researched in the area of cross-cultural advertising, cross-cultural consumer behavior, cross cultural pricing and marketing for nonprofits. His published work reflects his interest in cross cultural advertising and other marketing topics affecting a minority population. Peter J. DaDalt, Ph.D., Assistant Professor has conducted research in Corporate Governance and Control, Corporate Restructuring, Earnings Management and Earnings Restatements and Corporate Risk Management. As a faculty member in Accounting and Finance, Dr. DaDalt has published/ presented on a variety of corporate finance issues. Malay K. Dey, Ph.D., Assistant Professor has researched and published a broad range of topics about financial markets. Timothy W. Edlund, Associate Professor has researched extensively in the areas of Strategic Management, Business and Society, Operations Management and Ethics. His articles and publications reflect a series of issues that fall under Business Administration. Samuel A. Ejiaku, Lecturer, has conducted research in the areas of Management Information Systems, Utilization of the Internet in Developing Nations and Network and Communication System. Ali F. Emdad, Ph.D., Associate Professor, has researched extensively in the areas of Strategic uses of information technology and business process improvement, Internet Supply Chain Management, International issues and Innovative applications of technology in management education. Sharon Gary Finney, Ph.D., Associate Professor, has taught a variety of Accounting classes at Morgan and more recently lent her expertise to research on topics including Financial Accounting, Accounting Ethics and Accounting Education. Dr. Finney has written several for several Accounting publications. Steven Gibson, Ph.D., Assistant Professor, has conducted extensive research in the area of Pedagogical Strategies. Victoria Krivogorsky, Ph.D., Assistant Professor, has conducted research in the areas managerial behavior in highly uncertain environments, corporate governance and control, and the effects of governance mechanisms and information environments on accounting. Her publications/presentations represent a wide area of expertise, namely issues on Management, Accounting, Finance and Trade. Leyland M. Lucas, Ph.D., Assistant Professor has developed several professional research interests including Organizational Learning, Knowledge Transfer, International Business, Inner-City Economic Development, Entrepreneurship and Minority Business Development and Family Businesses. Dr. Lucas’s contributions to professional publications focus on Entrepreneurship, Management and Knowledge Transfer. Bilal Makkawi, Ph.D., Associate Professor conducts research on Auditing (Behavioral area). Dr. Makkawi’s published work reflects his expertise in the field of Behavioral issues as they affect Auditing. Franklyn A. Manu, Ph.D., Professor has researched widely in the area of International Marketing Strategy, Government Policy and Marketing in Developing Countries, Innovation and Marketing Strategy, Marketing Aspects of AIDS Prevention and Family Planning Programs, Export Promotion and Marketing and Tourism Marketing. His publications include Foreign Investment, AIDS research on prevention among populations in Africa and the Pharmaceutical Industry, Marketing in Africa and Cross Cultural Marketing. Karen L. Proudford, Ph.D., Associate Professor of Management has conducted research focusing on group and inter- group dynamics and diversity/conflict. She has presented papers on these topics at academic conference and lectured on the related issue of leadership, organizational growth and change Arundhati Rao, Ph.D. Associate Professor has conducted extensive research in several areas including Pension Accounting, Fair Market Value Accounting, Computerization of Accounting by Small Businesses and Internet as an Aid to Teaching in the Classroom. Her published work includes titles on Pension Plans, Ethical Dilemmas in the Job Interview Process, Petty Cash and the Impact of ‘Reporting Comprehensive Income’ on Large Multinational Firms. Dr. Dinker Raval, Ph.D., Professor of Business Administration has focused on several areas of concentration including Cross Cultural Marketing, Social Marketing, Cultural Analysis of International Business and International Marketing. During his lengthy career, Dr. Raval has published dozens of papers on a varied number of topics with an emphasis on Marketing from a cultural perspective. Darlington C. Richards, Ph.D., Assistant Professor has conducted research in Privatization, and Market Deregulation, Market Reform and Change Management, Law Reform for Emerging Economies and Ethics in Business. His published writings focus on International Management. Allen G. Schick, Ph.D., Associate Professor has conducted research on Budgeting, Business and Society, Business Education, Business Ethics and Organization Decline. John L. Southall, Assistant Professor conducts research in the areas of Underwriting, Employee Stock Ownership Plans, Financing Real Estate and Plans and Punitive Damages. Bala Subramanian, Associate Professor has enjoyed an extensive career in Morgan’s Business Administration Department where he has taught many courses. His research has focused on Social Marketing and Trust in Global Marketing Cross-Cultural Analysis E-Marketing. Huey-Lian Sun, Ph.D., Professor of Accounting has conducted research on Empirical research on financial reporting and corporate decisions. Dr. Sun has written numerous articles on stocks. Alex P. Tang, Ph.D., Professor of Finance has conducted research in the areas of Corporate Control, Capital Structure, Corporate Restructuring and Mergers and Acquisitions. Dr. Tang’s published works focuses on International and Corporate Finance. Frank S. Wilbon, Ph.D., Associate Professor has research and teaching interest that primarily focus on management of science, technology and strategy.
