July 15, 2008

The Office of Human Resources regrets to inform you of the passing of Mr. Willie Junius Morris, Retired Grounds Supervisor I, for the Physical Plant.  Mr. Morris, affectionately known as “ Rev” came to the University November 3, 1977 as a Groundskeeper I for the Physical Plant Department were he continued to  the position of Grounds Supervisor I,  March 12, 1998 and retired July 1, 1998. 
                                             
That was not the last we heard from the “Rev” he came back to the University after retiring and continued his dedication as a Shuttle Driver for Auxiliary and Business Services until his untimely death.  Human Resources joins the University in forwarding condolences to the Family.
