  • University Honors Program Director Dr. Darryl L. Peterkin with Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist and activist Sheryl WuDunn, on Wednesday, 05 March 2014.  Ms WuDunn, the featured speaker at a program sponsered by Towson University's Center for Student Diversity, delivered a talk entitled "Half the Sky: Turning Oppression into Opportunity for Women Worldwide."


  • University Honors Program Assistant Director Dr. Vivian Larkin accompanied a group of Morgan Students to an event at the White House on Monday, 24 February 2014!  And yes, that is actor Blair Underwood standing next to her!  Oh, First Lady Michelle Obama was there, too.


  • CONGRATULATIONS to Senior Honors students Kia Addison and Shaniqua Clark, who have passed the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX), and are now registered nurses!  Shaniqua will be working at Franklin Square and Kia has accepted a position at Johns Hopkins.
