Morgan State University is the premier source for individuals seeking academic and personal enrichment courses year round. There is a broad variety of educational programs offered to participants who ranged in age from 5 years old to older adults. Programs were offered in engineering, education, computer science, chemistry, mathematics, and athletics.
Each year, as the starting point for Summer Programs, the Center for Continuing and Professional Studies receives information about many exciting opportunities for summer activity and enrichment programs. Some of the programs are designed to support the student's academic program, involve travel, exposure to campus life, while others aim to help students gain confidence and develop independence. Summer programs are designed for young children high school students, college students, and adults.
In an effort to offer quality services for all summer programs on the campus of Morgan State University, the Center for Continuing and Professional Studies, in conjunction with other university offices, provides and addresses the specific needs of summer programs to include room assignments and event scheduling, in addition to housing, food, public safety, health, recreational, and Bear Necessity Card services.
