Program Development Specialist
Nilajah M. Nyasuma earned a master's degree in Human Services from Lincoln University and a doctorate degree in Urban Educational Leadership with a concentration in Administration and Planning from Morgan State University.
Dr. Nyasuma has over thirteen years of professional experiences in education and human services. She served as a congressional case manager for the federal government, a program manager for a non-profit adult education organization, and as a creative writing instructor for non-traditional students.
Currently, she is the Program Development Specialist for the Center for Continuing and Professional Studies (CCPS). In this capacity, she is responsible for creating workforce development initiatives, designing specialized personal enrichment workshops, and developing customized training programs for non-traditional adult learners. Dr. Nyasuma is also responsible for coordinating Summer Programs as well managing the Alpha Sigma Lambda Continuing Education National Honor Society.
