Challenges of the 21st Century: Spirituality, Morality, and Lifelong Learning in Faith-Based Communities

The Spirituality Forum held July 3, 2013 was hosted by the Department of Sociology and Anthropology and The Center for Continuing and Professional Studies (CCPS). The academic forum brought together community leaders, religious groups, and members of the Morgan family. The theme was "Challenges of the 21st Century: Spirituality, Morality, and Lifelong Learning". Discussion of community outreach efforts addressed social issues (e.g., incarceration of African American males) that involved churches, religious groups, and professional organizations. The panel presented strategies for working collaboratively in urban communities.

We would like to thank the panel members, presenters, and guests who attended our forum on July 3, 2013.
