Welcome to the Earl G. Graves School of Business and Management (SBM) at Morgan State University. I have
served as the Dean for over a decade and am proud of the progress we have made over that time. We now offer
a comprehensive and well-rounded business education to over a thousand undergraduate, MBA, and Ph.D. students.
SBM is accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) and offers demanding
degrees in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, Information Science and Systems, Management, and
Marketing. No matter what our students' career goals, our programs of study offer a sound background in
business principles and practices.
The strength of the SBM is our outstanding faculty. One of the best ways to develop expertise in business is to study with people who have strong business experience as well as impressive academic credentials. Our faculty members are exceptional teachers. As role models, mentors, advisors, and friends, they stand ready to help our students find their way into the business world. They challenge our students every day to achieve their goals, while remaining supportive. Beyond our in-class academic programs, the SBM offers numerous internship, mentorship, and coop programs which allow our students an opportunity to test their knowledge and the theories of the classroom in real-world business and management situations. In addition, our Entrepreneurial Development and Assistance Center and the Center for Entrepreneurship and Strategy provide research, outreach, and community development opportunities to help the University interact and work with the Baltimore business community. Success is a journey and not a destination, and we work every day to improve the SBM. |
