A graduate of Bowie State University in Bowie, Maryland having earned a B.S. degree in Sociology and a M.A. in Counseling Psychology, Mr. Hicks has served as an Outreach Counselor for the Educational Talent Search Program at CCBC Catonsville which assisted first generation and low income high school students achieve their goals for post secondary education. During his tenure with the TRIO programs, he taught Student Achievement classes (SDEV 101) and has performed various civic and community service activities throughout Baltimore.
