High School Programs

A.S.A.N.T.E Private Tutoring
Days: Monday - Thursday
Cost: Affordable
Semesters: Fall/Spring
Time: 3pm-6pm
Grades:9th-12th
The Office of Community Service here at Morgan State University has developed a private tutoring program for high school student in grades 9th through 12th. For the fall/spring this program will be held exclusively on weekdays. Tutoring for your child will be done in a one hour session and will take place in the Montebello Building on Argonne Drive.

Brother 2 Brother Mentoring Program
Days: Monday & Wednesday ( Males only)
Cost: FREE
Semesters: Fall/Spring
Time: 3pm-6pm
Grades: 9th -12th
Brother II Brother is a volunteer program dedicated to working with male high school students throughout Baltimore. Morgan male volunteers work with students engaging them in activities that are designed to teach self-awareness, leadership and responsibility.

S.A.S.Y Mentoring Program
Days: Saturdays ( Females only)
Cost: FREE
Semesters: Fall/Spring
Time: 12pm-2pm
Grades: 9th -12th
SASY (Sisters Advancing Sisterhood in Youth) is a big sister/ little sister program for high school females. Topics that focus on health, beauty, sex education, male-female relationships and post-secondary education are used to promote self-pride and sisterhood. A group of young Morgan women mentor high school females to help better their social ailments. The ultimate goal is to bring young ladies together in an environment that promotes sisterhood. Incorporated are activities that center around the four program components.
