Jenkins Building
Jenkins Building is a classroom and office building located near the
academic center of campus. It is named after Martin Jenkins, Morgan’s
sixth president, who served from 1948 to 1970. During Dr. Jenkins tenure,
Morgan significantly upgraded its academic programs and undertook a variety
of other academic improvements. In 1969, near the end of Jenkins’ presidency,
Morgan was named by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools
as a “Model Liberal Arts Institution.”
