Carter-Grant-Wilson
Located on the central campus, Carter-Grant-Wilson houses a number of
administrative and student services functions. The building is named after
three individuals who spent most of their professional careers at Morgan.
James H. Carter (Class of 1916) was born on the site that is now the Morgan
campus. George C. Grant (Class of 1923) initiated the "Alumnus of the
Year" award by which the University annually recognizes a distinguished
graduate. He also began the Alumni Loan Fund for graduates seeking graduate
and professional degrees. Edward N. Wilson, a campus administrator, was
the author of "The History of Morgan State College."
