Blount Residential Towers and Rawlings Hall
These two new buildings, located on the South Campus, provide Morgan
students with the finest in campus housing and dining arrangements. Blount
Towers, shown in the background, was completed in 1991 and houses 600
students. Rawlings Hall, pictured in the foreground, was completed in
1993 and is the residence of 200 students. Its dining hall serves the
entire campus and has a capacity of 2,000 students per meal. Both facilities
are named after Morgan alumni who are prominent members of the Maryland
General Assembly. State Senator Clarence W. Blount is Senate Majority
Leader. Delegate Howard P. Rawlings is Chair of the House Appropriations
Committee.
