Thank you for your interest in the School of Graduate Studies and I am pleased that you are considering Morgan State University as the place to pursue your next degree. The Carnegie Foundation classifies Morgan as a Doctoral Research University and we currently award doctorates in Business Administration, Bioenvironmental Sciences, Education (five doctoral programs), Engineering, English, History, Industrial and Computational Mathematics, Nursing (scheduled to begin soon), Psychometrics, Public Health, and Social Work. Additionally, we award degrees in 37 master's programs, including master's degrees in Engineering, English, History, numerous education fields, Architecture, Landscape Architecture, City and Regional Planning, International Studies, Museum Studies, Music, Nursing, Public Health, Telecommunications Management, Project Management, Accountancy, Transportation, and many more. We also have a number of graduate certificate programs in the same areas. Our graduate students have won prestigious UMI/ProQuest Council of Historically Black Graduate School awards for the quality of their dissertations and theses. Our graduate alumni hold leadership positions in business, education, government, social services, and in non-profit organizations.
