Department of Nutritional Sciences

Welcome to the Department Nutritional Sciences (Dietetics). The Department of Nutritional Sciences is housed under the MSU School of Community Health and Policy. Nutrition is the science in describing the metabolic pathways for nutrients, therapy for disease, and food habits and customs, often by incorporating principles and tools commonly utilized in the natural and social sciences. The Nutritional Science Program provides students with education and training for the Bachelors of Science in Nutrition.
