Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
The undergraduate program in nursing will offer a baccalaureate degree in nursing (BSN). The curriculum is built on the five components of professional nursing education: liberal arts education, professional values, core competencies, core knowledge and role development as recommended in The Essentials of Baccalaureate Education for Professional Nursing Practice.
The program is open to both juniors and transfer students who meet Morgan State admission requirements and the admission requirements for the nursing program. Students are admitted to the upper division clinical nursing courses following satisfactory completion of approximately 60 semester hours of prerequisites. Prerequisites necessary for the nursing program are described on the Admissions webpage.
