Justin Gladden

Justin began his photographic and multimedia career at Morgan State University in Baltimore. He was a Communication Studies major that saw the value of learning all forms of media, and studied graphic design, broadcast journalism, and video production along with TV production and photography. From day one his skills were put to practice with the university's newspaper, The Spokesman, and The Baltimore Sun shortly after.

The unique quality of his skills is not found in their depth and abundance, but in their ability to interact with themselves. They all meet at the central location of telling the story. Justin's creativity stems from a desire to break away from traditions and norms in story telling, going above and beyond to hammer the message home; and at times, finding ways to subtly and humorously convey his or his client's points. His photography, ever evolving, reveals the most intimate moment's of his subjects, and tells the story or their lives and most precious moments.

Over the years Justin has learned to master the technology used in his profession, and has recently gained favor in his field for his creative talent and his technical talent as well. A proclaimed Macintosh Guru, Justin has helped many not only understand the technology they are using but master it for daily use. Justin's knowledge has been used to help build the multimedia systems used at the Baltimore Sun Newspaper, and has spearheaded drastic changes in media for the Baltimore City School System and River Valley Ranch.

Through it all, Justin never considers himself a master or accomplished professional. His ever changing, evolving, and growing skills are encased in a humble facade that's always willing to learn more from those that have blazed trails before him. Justin often refers to himself as a, "Jack of all trades, and master of some."
