Office of Residence Life and Housing
Living on campus: your success starts here.
From traditional residence halls with community baths, to suite-style and apartment-style rooms with private and shared baths, Morgan State University has a residence hall to suit everyone's tastes. All of The Office Residence Life & Housing's residence hall rooms, suites and apartments feature furnishings, air conditioning, high speed Internet access, cable television and window blinds. Common areas include kitchens, laundries, meeting rooms, computer labs and lounges.
Choosing to live in a Morgan State University residence hall is your key to comfortable, affordable and secure on-campus living. Living on campus also gives you the opportunity to participate in your new residential community, to take part in the creation of an environment in which people:
- Know each other.
- Respect personal opinions and beliefs.
- Respect, appreciate and celebrate individual differences.
- Feel safe to experience personal growth and transformation.
- Actively contribute to a positive group living experience.
- Achieve academic success and grow intellectually.
Members of Morgan State University's residential communities hail from all walks of life, with students and staff from a wide variety of socioeconomic backgrounds, religious affiliations, races, nationalities, sexual orientations, ages, abilities, cultures and interests. For most students, residence halls are an introduction to group living. This can be a wonderful and rewarding experience that residents value for the rest of their lives. MSU Residence Life & Housing staff members are there to assist residents through the process of developing the skills needed to serve as positive, productive community members and leaders through the exploration of new ideas and ways of life.
Whether you are looking for information on current happenings, facts about the residence halls or are simply browsing, you can get started here. If you have questions, feel free to call The Office of Residence Life & Housing at (443) 885-3217, or send an e-mail to reslife@morgan.edu.
