Department:  School of Graduate Studies

Duties:   Organizes and manages the recruitment and admission efforts for Morgan State University's doctoral and masters programs; coordinates recruitment activities within the School of Graduate Studies and among the program coordinators throughout the University; manages the prospect tracking process; develops strategic plans for enrollment growth and sets and monitors progress toward annual goals; collaborates with the Financial Aid and Admissions Offices; coordinates the publication of all print and electronic materials for marketing graduate programs associated with admissions and pre-enrollment; participates in regional and national professional organizations such as NAGAP and CAP-GAP; develops and administers  communication plans for internal and external clients (i.e., departments and applicants) on weekly and monthly basis; serves as the information and training resource for departments on technology tools that support prospecting and recruitment; and performs other duties, as required.                                                          

Minimum Qualifications:  Masters Degree in Business, Higher Education, Communications or a related field; two (2) years of successful recruitment experience or related work experience using Embark Prospect Management and admissions systems in a diverse environment.

Preference: Sales or customer service experience.

Requirements: Knowledge and experience in graduation or adult education; Knowledge of current practices in recruitment, marketing, enrollment systems; skill using Embark prospect management; ability to work independently; ability to schedule and organize recruitment activities; ability to manage a recruitment budget; ability to use data driven approaches to manage contacts and inquiries using office tools and enterprise systems; ability to communicate effectively.
